This international workshop was jointly organized by RCJ and POUSH in 14 February 2006 on Sustainable Coastal Wetland Resource Management by Involving Local People. Coastal stakeholders, national and international researchers, policy maker, journalists, NGO, Government agencies participated the workshop. The participants share their experiences and success stories in different countries on wetland conservation recommended future possible actions.

I. Regional workshop on Sustainable Coastal Wetland Resource Management Through community participation
This regional workshop was jointly organized by RCJ and POUSH in 12 January 2005 on Sustainable Coastal Wetland Resource Management Through community participation. National and international researchers, policy maker, NGO, Government agencies participated. The proceedings was published and distributed among NGOS, GOB’S Concern department, Policy maker, Donor, local people etc.
II. Local level workshop on Community based coastal Wetland Management.
This workshop was organized by Bangladesh POUSH on 14 February, 2004 at Cox’s Bazar.
This local level workshop was organized by Bangladesh POUSH, on 7th March, 2003, at Harbang High School, Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar. The workshop aim was to intend to highlight on the forest eco-system and bio-diversity conservation among the different local groups in the hill region and share their ideas to have better understanding of the problems surrounding hill forest. The workshop proceeding was published and distributed among the NGOS, local people, policymaker, Govt. Concern Department, Donor, etc.
IV. Importance of Environmental Awareness & Education.
The international workshop jointly organized by RCJ and POUSH in February 2001 on Importance of Environmental Awareness and Education using Audio-visual Materials at grass root level, published workshop proceeding and distributed among NGOS, GOB’S Concern Department, Policymaker, Donor, local people etc.
V. Importance of Non-formal Environmental Education.
POUSH successfully organized an International workshop on importance of non-formal environmental education and published workshop proceeding and distributed in the year 1997 with the assistance of JFGE, Japan.
